Tod Akovic is a Vice President in the Special Situations group which invests globally across all property types, executing via co-investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations, fund secondaries, and debt-oriented investments. In addition to new acquisitions, he has significant asset management responsibilities.

Prior to joining The Townsend Group in 2019, Tod was responsible for investment asset allocations and real estate underwriting at RMS Investment Group. Prior to joining RMS Investment Group, Mr. Akovic worked for SITE Centers (NYSE:SITE) (formerly DDR Corp.), where he was primarily focused on capital markets, joint venture, and asset management initiatives.

Tod received his BBA in Finance from Cleveland State University.
