Nicky King is an Associate Partner within The Townsend Group’s Special Situations group and is based in London. She is dedicated to the firm’s direct real estate strategies and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and execution of co-investments to deploy the firm’s discretionary capital via LP and GP-led secondaries, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and co-investments with a focus on European opportunities. In addition, she is responsible for the monitoring and asset management of the group’s European portfolio investments.

Prior to joining The Townsend Group in 2019, Mrs. King spent seven years working in CBRE’s Corporate Finance division where she was responsible for providing financial analysis to support clients’ real estate investment decisions. Latterly, she was responsible for a separate account mandate for a private institution deploying capital into European offices.

Mrs. King has a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Modern Languages (French & German) from The University of Nottingham and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance & Investment from The University of Reading. She is a fluent French speaker and an advanced German speaker.
