Ishika Bansal Partner

Ms. Bansal joined The Townsend Group in 2011 and provides investment consulting to several of the firm’s institutional clients, including pension plans, foundation and sovereign wealth fund clients. Ms. Bansal’s primary responsibilities include strategic planning, portfolio construction, investment planning, due diligence and recommendation of potential investment opportunities, fee modeling, performance analytics and oversight of advisory client relationships.

Prior to joining Townsend, Ms. Bansal was an investment professional in the private equity manager research group at Summit Strategies, an investment consulting firm with over 65 institutional clients and $130 billion in assets advised. At Summit, Ms. Bansal helped manage a $4 billion private equity allocation with primary responsibilities of portfolio construction, research, sourcing, due diligence and recommendation of investment opportunities, performance analytics and monitoring. Within private equity, Ms. Bansal conducted research and evaluated private equity investments focusing on buyout, venture capital and debt-related strategies in the US, Europe and Asia.

Ms. Bansal received her MBA with a major in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis and her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi in India.
