Iliana is a Vice President in the European fund underwriting team at The Townsend Group. Iliana tracks the European real estate fund universe and trends in the overall real estate industry. As part of her role, she monitors the performance of funds in which Townsend’s clients have invested capital and undertakes due diligence on strategies suitable for Townsend’s clients.

Prior to working at The Townsend Group in 2022, Iliana was a Director at CBRE Capital Advisors with a focus on indirect strategies and fund underwriting. Before joining the real estate industry in 2015, Iliana worked in credit risk management with a focus on asset heavy industries.

Iliana holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), an MBA from INSEAD, and a Master’s degree in Business Economics: Finance Track from the University of Amsterdam. She is a member of the steering committee of INSEAD’s real estate alumni association in the U.K.
