Mr. Yu is an Associate Partner of The Townsend Group based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for fund management and underwriting new investment opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining The Townsend Group in 2020, Mr. Yu was an Associate Director for Invesco Real Estate where he was responsible for direct property acquisitions, underwriting, portfolio management, and an Asia-Pacific research strategist covering core and non-core direct strategies. Prior to Invesco Real Estate, Mr. Yu worked at Jones Lang LaSalle in the Asia Capital Markets team and at Cushman & Wakefield in the Research & Advisory group.

Mr. Yu earned an MSc in Investment Management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and holds a BA in Economics from Pomona College in Claremont, California.
